Throttlestop

Elkhart Lake, WI

This project was a multi-phase project for Throttlestop, a consignment dealer and motorcycle museum in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. CORE 4 was involved with the second and third phase of this project - the design of vehicle storage facilities. Built just a few miles from the world-famous Road America, Throttlestop is a destination for anyone with a passion for cars, bikes, and everything in between!

Pilgrim Lutheran Church

MENOMONEE FALLS, WI

The expansion of the south-end of the existing building included a single-story addition with new classroom space, reception area, workroom, restrooms, and a large gathering space. These meeting spaces were designed with future worship space and education expansions in mind, as this project is but one phase of a multi-phase expansion plan.

Spring Harbor House

Madison, WI

This project occupies an oddly shaped, steeply sloped lot close to downtown Madison. The home is comprised of three “boxes” that sit atop a concrete podium - the largest of which ends in a cantilever over the edge of this podium to draw attention to the steep slope of the lot.

Block 27

Sacramento, CA

Sitting on a lot that lies between a dense residential district to the south and an industrial district to the north, this four-unit apartment building takes cues from both to create a unique transitional point between the two distinct styles of building design. The four 2-3 bedroom apartment units share a rooftop terrace on the third floor overlooking the cityscape to the east, as well as a bike/scooter parking area on the first level of the building facing the street.

Highland Residence

Elm Grove, WI

This beautiful single story residence in Elm Grove makes use of alcoves in the exterior façade of the building to create little pockets of natural landscape - fueling a seamless transition from the the foliage outside to the modern space within.

Curtain House

Milwaukee, WI

This private residence sits on a long, narrow lot in Milwaukee’s Lower East side. The 3-level design makes full use of the small infill space with a full Master Suite, 3 other bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room and dining area, a garage, a terrace, and a small balcony that offers a view of the Milwaukee River. The street facing side of the building uses slats to provide privacy to residents and control the amount of light entering the building, while also giving the front of the building an contemporary façade that stands out from the antiquated homes it sits between.

Watershed Hotel & Event Space

Sheboygan, WI

With stunning views right along the Sheboygan River and a large outdoor terrace, this 25 room hotel provides a lovely backdrop for weddings, corporate events, fundraisers, and everything in between. The interior design features a large fireplace seating area, bar with foldout glass doors connecting it to the outdoor terrace space, and a second floor suspended walkway. This walkway is supported by steel rods hanging from the ceiling system above, helping to maximize the interior space below.

Wisconsin 9/11 Memorial

Kewaskum, WI

Featuring a beam of steel recovered from the North Tower of the World Trade Center as its center piece, this beautiful memorial honors those that were lost on 9/11/2001 - including Kewaskum Graduate, Andrea Lyn Haberman - as well as those who were a part of the operations that took place after the events of 9/11 at Ground Zero.

Catalpa Health Mental Health Clinic

Appleton, WI

This renovation created a large clinic for Catalpa Health. The remodel created a welcoming reception area, large community room, and several smaller spaces to be used for one-on-one therapy sessions, playrooms, art spaces, rec rooms, and administrative offices. The project also includes a pharmacy, gift shop, and back call center with a staff break space.

Hennig West

Machesney Park, IL

This 115,000 square foot addition to Hennig’s enclosure systems building holds operations for Hennig’s backup power generator enclosures. Hennig designs and builds custom generator enclosures for various industries, including water treatment and municipal buildings, medical facilities, and data centers.

Merton Office Building

Merton, WI

This approximately 10,000 square foot office building created a home for “The Good Dentist” in Merton, WI. The dental office itself contains 12 workstations, a lab, a workroom, staffroom, and waiting area for patients while the remaining two-thirds of the building is proposed for future use. The design as a whole utilizes a combination of exposed wood and steel, creating the beautiful entryways and canopies depicted below.

Northwest Bank

Loves Park, IL

This project designed a new 12,000 square foot facility for Northwest Bank. The single story building uses steel columns and beams to create a joint mortgage and branch banking space for the company. The mortgage offices include a large conference room with over 25 office spaces, a board room, presidential office space, and a small lobby area. On the branch’s banking side, you’ll find a large lobby area with three teller workstations, a break room, and a two-lane drive through.

Krispy Kreme

Indianapolis, IN

With over 1,000 locations and growing, Krispy Kreme Doughnuts is constantly renovating existing locations and creating new ones. Poplar Hall

Appleton, WI

This over 8,000 square foot project created a multi-use venue for a variety of events from weddings to concerts! The two story design features sloped roof cantilevers, floor to ceiling windows along the back that offer a beautiful view of the Fox River, and cross-laminated timber (CLT) floor panels to create a wrap-around mezzanine within the main space. The project also includes a stage, two bar areas, storage space, prep room, and coat room located near the entryway.

Lac La Belle Condominiums

Oconomowoc, WI

This 5-story, 75,000 square foot condominium complex consists of 2 five story towers overlooking the beautiful Lac La Belle in Oconomowoc, WI. The towers are connected by a below grade parking lot, and offer uninterrupted views of the lake. The complex is mere steps away from numerous shops and restaurants, and has pier access just across the back lawn.

Aspirus Rhinelander

Rhinelander, WI

This $14 million addition provided over 20,000 square footage of space for the Aspirus Rhinelander location. This includes new check-in/waiting areas, new exam rooms, expanded outpatient therapies, a sleep study facility, and increased imagining services. The new entrance and check-in area was created with huge windows to provide the space with ample natural lighting.

West Allis Development

West Allis, WI

This 2-story office building brings 6 tenant spaces to West National Ave in West Allis, Wisconsin. The three windowed towers featured on the street corner as well as both entrances to the building use spandrel glass to give some privacy to occupants while allowing plenty of natural light inside.

Waukesha Fire Station #4

Waukesha, WI

This 1-story addition added storage space to this Waukesha Fire Station. The addition included two separate storage areas, including one with a rear garage door that opens to a new asphalt drive behind the building connecting it to the existing driveway.

Shumway Dental

Slinger, WI

This over 6,000 square foot project created a new dental clinic for Dr. Shumway Dental in Slinger, WI. The space includes a large reception area, over 12 patient rooms, a lab, staff lounge, business office, and a 1,500 square foot basement complete with an equipment room and shower.

St. Francis Xavier Parish Center

De Pere, WI

This project added over 8,100 square feet to the existing St. Francis Xavier Parish in De Pere, Wisconsin. The new parish center includes a large fellowship hall with kitchen and storage space, an open office/pastoral office space, classroom, conference room, and sacristy space.
